The Google News application allows you to read, share and post news stories that are relevant and interesting to you and your friends.

Google News is a quick and easy way to find out what you want to know without fuss.
You can pick what categories you wish to view; Entertainment News, World News, Business News, Sci/ Tech News or create a category of your own by entering a custom topic.

Once you have submitted your topics, the top three news stories for each category are displayed in the left hand column. In the right hand column are the three Top News stories and the three Most Popular News stories.

With this application you are also able to send friends relevant stories or ones they might find interesting and receive them. You can also post a story on your profile.

You are able to keep track of all your sent and received stories, your favourite stories and your most active friends.

I quite like this application, it’s simple but informative.
